Recorded at 101 Crossroads Sound Studios in Elgin Crossroads, Alabama, the album was produced by Allen Watkins and mixed and mastered by Vance Henry. Allen and Connie Watkins wrote all of the songs except for one special track, written by their good friend James Polhemus.

Joining Allen and Connie on the album are Joe Parker on bass and Garrett Smith on fiddle and mandolin. Allen plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, and sings, while Connie lends her voice along with guitar and mandolin. We’re also honored to have special guest appearances from Dan Watkins, Jon Davis, John Henderson, Tony Robertson, Vance Henry, and Lisa Williams.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Floyd Watkins, a self-taught musician whose guitar and mandolin playing spanned nearly 84 years. Floyd’s love for music was a lifelong gift, and that love continues today through his sons and grandsons.

These songs are a celebration of family, tradition, friendship, and the simple joy of making music together. They carry a piece of the music that has filled our homes and brought us together through the years.

We hope this album brings some of that same warmth and joy into your home—and that you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.
